Astronaut Kennen Skin: Splash Art, Price and Release Date

Riot has revealed the upcoming Kennen skin, Astronaut Kennen, which will release on patch 13.4.

There are various skins in League of Legends. Moreover, Riot has been releasing them since the release of the game. Additionally, these skins follow a set theme that could range from serious to sci-fi. One of the older sci-fi yet fun skin line Riot released for League of Legends is the Astronaut skin line.

The original Astronaut skin line was released in 2010 with the release of Astronaut Teemo. Though it was initially supposed to be a one-off skin, Riot brought it back in 2020 with the release of Astronaut Bard, Astronaut Gnar, and Astronaut Poppy. Furthermore, a year later, they released another iteration of the Astronaut skin line, which featured a Maokai, Rammus, Veigar, and Corki skin.

While Riot did not release any Astronaut skins in 2022, they are returning in 2023. For this year, Riot Games has announced 5 unique Astronaut skins. And one of them is Astronaut Kennen.

Kennen, The Heart of The Tempest was released in 2010, the same year the original Astronaut Teemo skin was released. Additionally, he is a top-lane AP champion who focuses on burst damage. However, he is a niche champion that few people want to play. That’s why he has a very low pick rate most of the time.

And for his cosmetics, Kennen has 9 skins. But unfortunately, most of them were released before 2011. Furthermore, most of his skins are simple recolours. Very few of his skins are worth picking up. But Astronaut Kennen is one of the five great skins that are worth buying for Kennen.
