American college basketball player Jaden Ivey is young and has great potential. He plays for the United States. Foot problems forced Ivey to sit out five games during his first basketball season.

On January 19, 2021, as part of a 15-point effort, he hit a game-winning three-pointer with five seconds remaining to play, leading Ohio State to a 67–65 victory against their opponent. Ivey scored a season-high 26 points despite his team’s loss against North Texas in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on March 19. The game went into overtime, and the final score was 78–69. As a freshman, he averaged 11.1 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. It earned him a spot on the Big Ten All-Rookie Team.

Personal Life

Ivey’s mother, Niele Ivey, a former player, now works at Notre Dame as the head coach for the women’s basketball team. Ivey, who came from a family of athletes, had his first taste of the basketball game when he was only two years old. His mother bought him a toy version of the sport for Christmas. Ivey has one half-brother from their father’s side, and his name is Jordan Hunter.
