Liv Morgan is doing very well in WWE nowadays, she has constantly indicated the WWE Universe that she has potential to be the world Champion one day. Liv Morgan reminds us of Jeff Hardy during the late 2000s, when he was competing against the big ones and main eventing against Orton, Edge, and HHH but didn’t win the big one until a couple years later. Liv Morgan has improved herself throughout the years and has captivated the crowd with her character work.
Liv Morgan made her debut on NXT Brand in 2014 and performed on the brand until 2017, She worked as a Jobber in her initial year and then even competed against the then NXT Women’s Champion Asuka for the title shot but she lost. Morgan then made her main roster debut with SmackDown Brand and formed an alliance with Ruby Riot and Sarah Logan and cemented herself as a heel along with Ruby and Sarah. The trio became known as “The Riot Squad” and showed their dominance for a couple of years on and off, until getting dissolved completely in 2021 when Ruby Riot was released.
Liv Morgan started wrestling as a complete singles wrestler from June 2021 and has since began chasing the Women’s Championship. She was a part of the 2021 Money in the Bank Ladder match at the 2021 MITB Event, but failed to win it. In October 2021 Morgan was drafted to the RAW Brand and in December 2021 she had got the biggest opportunity of her life, when she got the title opportunity against the then RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.
Liv and Becky main evented the December 6th edition of RAW for the RAW Women’s Championship, Morgan gave a tough fight to Becky but lost the match. She definitely earned the respect of the WWE Universe and her peers that night.
On June 5, Morgan along with AJ Styles and Finn Balor faced The Judgment Day (Edge, Damien Priest, and Rhea Ripley) in a six-person mixed tag team match at Hell in a Cell, but lost. She had the experience of wrestling along with AJ Styles Finn Balor.
Morgan recently spoke with New York Post reporter Joseph Staszewski and shed light on her collaboration with Styles and Balor.Morgan described Balor and Styles as “wonderful individuals” and “perfect pros.” She stated that she had learned a lot from AJ and Finn. She went on to explain that they both made her feel at ease and important, and that they both wanted her to be the center of attention. Morgan closed by saying she is appreciative to both Balor and Styles for their kindness, and that they want to see her heard and recognized as a wrestler.
“They were amazing honestly. They are such total and complete pros. being in the ring and seeing how they operate, there are a lot of things I can pick up on from A.J. and from Finn. They made me feel so included and they made me feel so important. They wanted me to stand in the middle, they wanted me to have a spotlight. So I’m really grateful that they were so gracious to me as far as TV time and wanted me to be seen and heard and valued”
Liv Morgan has qualified for the Money in the Bank Ladder match scheduled to happen on this Sunday at the money in the bank live event.
