(CelebrityAccess) Whoever is running the Wendy’s twitter account (hint: it is not the famed Amy Brown of years past) took time during the recent “National Roast Day” to serve some spice to various musical artists and record labels.
Brown drew national attention when her then-anonymous response to a Wendy’s hater established the eatery’s Twitter account as one of the most snarky of corporate social media platforms, ranking up there with the Denny’s tumblr space. Although Brown is no longer the roast-master, the social media team at Wendy’s made its Twitter account the go-to internet visit on Friday during #NationalRoastDay.
Along with music targets, Wendy’s drew attention for destroying everyone from sports teams to comic books to gamers.
Amid the carnage were those like Matt Deis of the band CKY, who asked for a dig:
We were trying to listen to some of your music but couldn’t find our Zune. #NationalRoastDay

Papa Roach also got one:

Can’t wait to do the wall of death, and the circle pit, and hear you tell us this is the best town of the tour so far while you run support for Hatebreed. 😉 #NationalRoastDay
